Reflective Writing

i)              I go to Cranbrook Kingswood in Michigan. Our school student council president during my freshman year exemplified great leadership. Her name is Sydney.  She was a senior when I was a freshman. Besides running Student Council she was also involved in several volunteering activities as well as a rigorous schedule.  Too add on, she was also captain of the swim team, which further demonstrated her leadership. She encouraged several new students to join the club as well as organized each agenda. She was on top of each assignment and executed each task with her best effort.
ii)             I believe a good leader is appreciated, liked, and gets the tasks done thoroughly. She fits all of these requirements and she possesses the qualities of a leader.  She set an example with her passion and dedication to the club to inspire the younger part of the committee to become involved. We looked up to her as we listened to her ideas as well as when she took control of the discussions and went through the agendas. She displayed the responsible, mature, and caring attitude that lead to the students to look up to her. Every time we had a project, she managed to include everyone into the work. Her understanding and flexible personality made it possible for the work to be spread out evenly.
iii)           At the end of the year a few members lacked dedication in the club. She had to decide whether to continue to allow students to remain as members in the club or to remove them as members due to their lack of dedication. In the end, she decided on warning the members and if they still do not contribute more to the club, they were removed.
